Top 5 Beauty Trends This Holiday Season

My beauty besties!

‘Tis the season, am I right? The holidays are swiftly upon us and as the nights get chillier and our moisturizers get thicker, I’m sure we’re all ready for some holiday revelry. Here are the top five beauty trends this holiday season:

Shining Like Starlight
1, 2, 3, GLOW!

While a fresh, dewy look is always a good idea, why not add a bit of holiday cheer to your party look and indulge in some sparkles? It’s easy as pie… just amp up the highlighter for an extra glam feel. A soft sweep of highlighter can illuminate your brow bone, cheekbones, and cupid's bow for a luminous look. There are also glitter-free highlighters if you want to keep it simple yet glistening.

Jewel Tones Galore
Sure to work with all skin tones…

Sure, a smokey eye is a staple makeup look, but have you ever considered changing it up? Why not go for a playful jewel tone this season? Sapphire blue, emerald green, or a deep purple color are all ways to amplify your holiday beauty look.

Classic Red Lip
It never goes out of style…

Red lipstick has been around for ages, and for good reason, too– it looks amazing on everyone. From deeper ruby reds to a classic cherry hue, there are so many options when it comes to creating a bold red lip. With everything from soft matte finishes to a glossy lacquer, there are endless finishes at your disposal, all made to enhance your cheerful holiday beauty look. Don’t forget the lip liner, too!

Metallic Glamor

Mix metals this season with a blend of silver, bronze, and golden hues. Adding fierce metallic liner or smoked-out eyeshadow to your party look is an easy and elegant way to stun ‘em all. Don’t forget the eyeshadow primer, and if you’re really feeling yourself, highlight the inner corners with the same metallic hue for an extra cool edge. (Yes, I did learn this trick from Tik Tok!)

Pop The Champagne
Let the countdown begin…

Champagne tones are in, haven’t you heard? The light and airy tone mirror a rose gold for a pretty, subtle, and sweet finish. A champagne hue isn’t hard to find either and exists in everything from liquid liner to eyeshadow pallets to shimmery highlighter to lip gloss. The best part? Champagne-colored products are available at the drugstore and high-end retailers as well, so it’s still possible to glam it up, whatever your budget.
