Are your products safe to use on a daily basis?

Yes, they are. We put each product through a rigorous test so you know upfront, exactly what you're getting, ingredients and all. We're proud to offer a hand-picked selection of products for your perusing pleasure and hope you love them too. Are your products clean?

There is a lot of ambiguity surrounding the phrase “clean beauty.” Since, most of the industry is self-regulated – meaning, companies regulate themselves – the actual definition of “clean” is defined by what these companies want you to believe is clean.

Are your products cruelty free?

Yes, all products offered on Slate Brands are always cruelty free. No animals are harmed. Ever. We also require that all of our contract manufacturers confirm that they do not test on animals.

Are your products vegan?

We are not a vegan company. That said, many of our products are formulated without animal-derived ingredients. You can find a list of each product’s ingredients on its product page in the “Ingredients” tab.

Are your products gluten free?

Our products do not contain any gluten based ingredients. That said, our products have not been tested for gluten and were not produced in a gluten-free facility. Because we are not gluten-free certified, please consult a doctor prior to use.

Are your products sustainably packaged?

We take sustainability and our environment very seriously and we are always working to reduce waste as much as possible. We do our best to use sustainable materials in everything we do from our ingredients to packaging. Orders

My item(s) arrived damaged, what should I do?

We are happy to offer Simply Shipping Protection for all Slate Brands orders. Simply keep this protection option on at checkout and your package will be protected in the event of loss or theft. If your order includes Simply Shipping Protection and you experience loss/theft at delivery, please contact support@slatebrands.com and we will help you through the simple claim and replacement process. Refund/replacement requests for lost or stolen packages must be made within 15 days of the “delivery date.” Requests after this point will be denied.

If your package is not protected with Simply Shipping Protection, Slate Brands is unable to accept any liability for loss or theft.

Help, my order is missing/stolen?!

We are happy to offer Simply Shipping Protection for all Slate Brands orders. Simply keep this protection option on at checkout and your package will be protected in the event of loss or theft. If your order includes Simply Shipping Protection and you experience loss/theft at delivery, please contact support@slatebrands.com within 15 days of delivery and we will help you
through the simple claim and replacement process. Refund/replacement requests

Where can I track my order?

When you place your order, you will be emailed a shipping confirmation email along with a tracking number that allows you to track your package. If you are unable to locate your tracking number, or have any other questions regarding shipping, please contact support@slatebrands.com.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Please contact us at support@slatebrands.com as soon as possible. Unfortunately, update and cancellation requests cannot always be accommodated. After a certain stage of order processing, orders can no longer be modified, but we will try our best to assist.

How can I check the status of my order?

Once your order has been placed and processed, you will receive a confirmation email shortly after that includes an order tracking
link. If you created an account, you can log into your Slate Brands account to see your order status and history.

Can I change my shipping address after I’ve placed an order?

Please contact us at support@slatebrands.com as soon as possible. Due to our fulfillment and ordering process, we can’t promise that updates can be made to your order, but we will do our best to process your request.

Shipping

Where do you ship?

At this time, we only ship to the United States, Canada and Mexico. Rest assured, worldwide shipping will be available soon!

Do you ship internationally?

We do not ship internationally at this time, but please sign-up for our email newsletter to be the first to know when Slate Brands is available in your country.

How much does shipping cost?

You will be notified of your shipping costs when you get to the online checkout when placing your order. After the shipping address has been entered, the shipping cost will display on the checkout page.

When will my order ship?

Processing normally takes 1 to 2 business days (and orders placed after 1:00 pm EST are processed the next business day). Then one of our carriers takes it from there. You’ll get a shipment notification email with a tracking number as soon as your package ships.

Billing

When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will be charged as soon as the order has been processed. That is to say, expect a charge within 3-5 business days.

Can I change my billing address after I've placed an order?

Unfortunately, we cannot change your billing address after the order has been processed. Rest assured, your order will still arrive at your door.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, American Express, Mastercard, JCB Discover, Diners Club, Apple Pay, Shop Pay, Facebook Pay, and Google Pay.

Returns

What is your return policy?

At Slate Brands, all products are considered FINAL SALE items and are not eligible for returns or exchange.
