Yes, they are. We put each product through a rigorous test so you know upfront, exactly what you're getting, ingredients and all. We're proud to offer a hand picked selection of products for your perusing pleasure and hope you love them too. Are your products clean?

There is a lot of ambiguity surrounding the phrase “clean beauty.” Since, most of the industry is self regulated– meaning, companies regulate themselves – the actual definition of “clean” is defined by what these companies want you to believe is clean.

We are here to set the record straight! At SlateLand, we are committed to educating ourselves so that we can provide you with the most clean formulas while being completely transparent of all ingredients. This way, our products are formulated with purpose and knowledge in all the active and inactive ingredients used. With the wellbeing of beauty consumers in mind, we focus on ingredients that are safe and effective, thoughtfully formulated, and rigorously tested for safety.

Are your products cruelty free?

A: Yes, all products offered on SlateLand are always cruelty free. No animals are harmed. Ever. We also require that all of our contract manufacturers confirm that they do not test on animals.

Are your products vegan?

We are not a vegan company. That said, many of our products are formulated without animal-derived ingredients. You can find a list of each product’s ingredients on its product page in the “Ingredients” tab.

Our products do not contain any gluten based ingredients. That said, our products have not been tested for gluten and were not produced in a gluten-free facility. Because we are not gluten-free certified, please consult a doctor prior to use.

Orders

My item(s) arrived damaged, what should I do?

Please contact support@slateland.com for assistance. Send us a photo and video of the damaged or broken piece and we will replace the item.

Where can I track my order?

When you place your order, you will be emailed a shipping confirmation email along with a tracking number that allows you to track your package. If you are unable to locate your tracking number, or have any other questions regarding shipping, please contact support@slateland.com.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Please contact us at support@slateland.com as soon as possible. Unfortunately, update and cancellation requests cannot always be accommodated. After a certain stage of order processing, orders can no longer be modified, but we will try our best to assist.

How can I check the status of my order?

Once your order has been placed and processed, you will receive a confirmation email shortly after that includes an order tracking link. If you created an account, you can log into your SlateLand account to see your order status and history.

Can I change my shipping address after I’ve placed an order?

Please contact us at support@slateland.com as soon as possible. Due to our fulfillment and ordering process, we can’t promise that updates can be made to your order, but we will do our best to process your request.

Shipping

Where do you ship?

At this time, we only ship within the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. Rest assured, worldwide shipping will be available soon!

Do you ship internationally?

We do not ship internationally at this time, but please sign-up for our email newsletter to be the first to know when SlateLand is available in your country.

How much does shipping cost?

You will be notified of your shipping costs when you get to the online checkout when placing your order. After the shipping address has been entered, the shipping cost will display on the checkout page.

When will my order ship?

Processing normally takes 1 to 2 business days (and orders placed after 1:00 pm EST are processed the next business day). Then one of our carriers takes it from there. You’ll get a shipment notification email with a tracking number as soon as your package ships.

BILLING

When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will be charged as soon as the order has been processed. That is to say, expect a charge within 3-5 business days.

Can I changed my billing address after I've placed an order?

Unfortunately, we can not change your billing address after the order has been processed. Rest assured, your order will still arrive at your door.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, American Express, Mastercard, JCB Discover, Diners Club, Apple Pay, Shop Pay, Facebook Pay, and Google Pay.

Returns

What is your return policy?

all sales are final and are sadly not eligible for returns or exchange. If your package was damaged during shipping, please email us within 7 days of receipt of your order at support@slatebrands.com for further instructions.

PRE-ORDERS

How do pre-orders work?

When you pre - order a product, it means you're placing an order before it's available to ship. When it does become available, we'll send the product out within the appropriate business days. Basically, you're ensuring the item is yours as soon as it's available on our site which is really cool. YAY!

What does it mean when an order is on backorder?

If an item is on backorder, it means too many people want this product at the moment and it is being made but isn't currently on site. Rest assured, we're working to get it to you as soon as possible.

Can I cancel my pre - order?

Unfortunately, we are unable to cancel orders once they are placed.
